Wilco W. van Dijk received his first degree in Psychology from the University of Groningen (1990) and his second degree (1994) and Ph.D. (1999) in Psychology from the University of Amsterdam. He has research interests in interpersonal processes and specific emotions (e.g., schadenfreude, envy).
